It time again for me to wave goodbye to the very last bit of winter quarter... I am sure that i will miss the luxury of sitting beside the window, enjoying the fluffy snowflakes gracing the sky with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows in my icy cold hands... -_-"

Here's some reflection for winter 2009:-

CUSA Show 2009

This year, i was the musical director and the guest performer for the show.. Although i very much wanted to act in the show, i didn't get the chance to do it because "aiya, need to give freshmen a chance to act mar" ... But anyway, i personally think that i did a good job with the music selection throughout the shows, and did ok for my singing during the intermission.

Ski Trip 2009
Once in a year event for me. This year, i went to a more challenging ski resort and this ambitious thought of mind definitely almost killed me. I fell from the "elevated chair" once, embarrassed myself in front of so many people. But well, it is definitely a nice and memorable ski trip!

Activities
Did nothing much this quarter especially since i started working. Supposed to sing for another 3 cultural shows, but all of them didn't turn out fine. And the economics crisis has definitely hit one the shows that my friend and i were planning... No funding = no show...

Have not been playing badminton for the entire quarter.. But next quarter, i am taking part in a few tournaments around Midwest and give myself a chance to represent Midwest at the Nationals. Hope i can get things right this time around!

Academic
- Self .Culture and Society 2
This quarter has been great. I did 2 papers, one 15 pages long and the other 8 pages. Really enjoyed this quarter and to my surprise, i actually talked more in the class. To make things sweeter, i was awarded an A for my participation grade. I almost burst into tears when Prof Heath told me that, she appreciated my effort in class and gave me an A for doing that!

-Fundamentals of Modern Physics
At the beginning of the quarter, i almost withdrew from this class because i really could not stand the contents taught in the class... If you think the physics class i took last quarter was bad enough, i would say that this class gave me 300x more headaches.. But I came into the second half of the quarter, i realized that his class is really interesting after all... I think i learnt quite a lot from the professor.. And he is so easy going and friendly... Thumbs up for this class!

-Introduction to Microeconomic Analysis 2
This is the class that i need to do well... I think i did quite well for problem sets, very much thanks to the Singaporeans who never fails to help me... I did ok-ly for my midterm, although i had a shock when i first got back my paper.. They made a mistake with my score and after the changes made, i felt so much safer and happier.. Ha ha~ But then, i did not put in very much effort for the finals, and i think i did not do as well as i wanted it to be...
Target: A-/ B+

- Received a rose for Valentines Day.. (Never gonna tell who gave me the flower_
- Confessed to a girl after thinking for such a long time, but seems like nothing gonna happen... Well, not going to be sad, but sincerely hope she is leading a good life as she deserve it.. ("Malaysian English mode " See, i very noble de ok? Cannot get it then also must bless people de mar.. Love her doesn't mean have to own her right? hahaha... WTF )

Something special to note
- Got rejected from all the big banks that i applied to for a summer internship... First time in my life, i am so unsuccessful in terms of doing an application... Ha ha, but knowing that the market is really bad and more deserving people also fail to get anything, i feel so much better... And this also give me the extra excuse to travel during summer... "Life is to short to do things that are stressful and not fun"

- But then, i was so happy with the recommendation given by my Drama Professor... He gave me a super duper wonderful recommendation (although i personally feels that he really overrated my performance in his review).. And because of that, i got into Barcelona Study Abroad Program. I am going to the place where F4 and Shan Cai have fun during Meteor Garden 2.
Ok... That's pretty much what happen during this quarter... In conclusion, it is a very pleasant and happy quarter.. But i have to admit, this quarter, there are quite a lot of "fxxking comments" coming out from PMS childish people.. But who cares? haha~ Enjoy~

I slept at 11.30pm yesterday, a great beginning since i vowed to be healthier starting next quarter. And i shocked myself by waking up at 7.10am... Hmm... Ha ha~ I even made myself an awesome breakfast..
